Ancient Tradition Meets Modern Connection: An Authentic Relating Sauna Experience
Throughout history, the sauna has served as a space for community, conversation, and connection. We invite you to experience this ancient tradition alongside the practice of Authentic Relating.
Join Sky Yeater, LPC of Authentic Houston, for a two-hour Authentic Relating sauna experience built around three guided rounds in the Finnish Sauna.
What is Authentic Relating?
Authentic Relating (AR) is a practice of guided, structured exercises that encourage curiosity, presence, and deeper connection. It moves beyond the usual small talk, inviting you into more meaningful conversations with yourself and those around you.
Paired with the natural warmth and restorative environment of the sauna, the practice takes on another dimension. As the body relaxes and the pace slows, it becomes easier to settle into the moment, be present, and connect more openly with others.
We’ll move through three 10-minute rounds of Authentic Relating games in the Finnish Sauna, with time between each round to cool down, rest, and reset.
Slow down, drop into presence, and discover what can unfold when the ancient tradition of sauna meets a modern practice of connection.
This is a small-group event designed for genuine connection, so availability is limited.

BOOKING INFORMATION
This is a special ticketed event with limited capacity.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the 7:00 PM start time to allow time to check in, change, and shower. The guided programme will begin promptly.
Please bring:
Swimwear
Waterproof sauna shoes
Non-glass refillable water bottle
Towels and a sauna seat cover are provided. Guests may bring additional linens or robe from home.
Saunawelt is a technology-free environment. Mobiles, smartwatches, and other electronic devices must remain in your locker during the session.
As with any sauna session, guests are encouraged to listen to their bodies and may step out of any sauna round at any time.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
You may cancel or reschedule your sauna session up to 7 days before the event. Seats booked less than 7 days in advance cannot be changed or cancelled. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session price.
